The Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas will meet French president Hollande in Paris later this month to discuss France’s recent push to restart Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations. In January, outgoing French Foreign Minister, Laurent Fabius originally presented the French Initiative threatening that Paris would formally recognize a Palestinian state should its efforts to renew the peace process fail. France will engage in the coming weeks in the preparation of an international conference bringing together the parties and their main partners to preserve and achieve the two-state solution, Fabulous told a conference of French diplomats in Paris. The ultimate goal is to formulate a UN resolution that would outline a peace plan, which the UN Security Council would approve. If the UN, including the United States, would pass a Middle East peace resolution. It would be very hard for Israel to disobey since the resolution would carry the weight of international law. International law can be enforced by economic sanctions or even military invasion. If a peace plan is reached between Israel and the Palestinians, and eventually it will be, the final seven years to Armageddon and the Second Coming of Jesus will begin. The international community will be working to achieve that agreement over the next few months.
