A National ID card is *not* really about identity. It is about authorization.
Duncan Frissell, a New York attorney, wrote a revealing article which uncovers the truth about National ID. His article appeared in the Sept/Oct 2009 issue of Endtime Magazine. There is nothing new in politicians pandering to special interests. However, "hate-crimes" bills pander in ways that violate the 14th Amendment by creating unequal standing in law. If a homosexual is assaulted, a hate-crime will have been committed in addition to the crime of assault. If a heterosexual is assaulted, it will merely be an act of assault.
